Originally called UK Cycle Centre, the business was later renamed CycleSwitch and acquired competitor Flat Out Cycles. The original business ran until 2018. Working through independent bike shops gave Adam first-hand experience of a partner-led trading model, used-product valuation, purchasing, stock and the practical questions involved in acquiring a competitor.
